Accessibility Statement

The work of this practice is concerned, at its foundation, with the sovereignty and dignity of every individual human being. It proceeds from the understanding that every soul that arrives regardless of the form of its arrival, the body it inhabits, the language it thinks in, or the manner in which it engages with the world carries a specific cosmic inheritance of equal weight and equal seriousness. That principle is not reserved for the consultation room. It governs every dimension of how this practice makes itself available.

What web accessibility is

This website and this practice are committed to being accessible to the widest possible range of people, including those living with visual, auditory, cognitive, motor, or other disabilities, and those navigating the barriers of language, geography, or economic circumstance.

Accessibility is understood here not as a technical checklist but as an extension of the same ethical commitment that governs the practice itself: that genuine encounter is only possible when genuine access exists. A practice that speaks of human dignity while erecting practical barriers to participation is in contradiction with itself. We work to eliminate those contradictions wherever they are within our power to do so.

This website is designed with the following accessibility standards in mind. All text content is structured with clear visual hierarchy and sufficient contrast ratios to support readability for users with low vision. The website is navigable by keyboard for users who do not use a pointing device. Images and non-text visual elements are provided with descriptive alternative text. The site is designed to function effectively with screen reader technology.

We aim for compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards as the baseline for this website. Where we fall short of those standards, we want to know. Feedback on any accessibility barrier encountered on this website is welcomed and taken seriously.

Accessibility Adjustments on This Site

All consultations are conducted online, which supports a range of accessibility features including closed captioning, screen magnification, and keyboard navigation. If you require specific technical accommodations for your session, please indicate this at the time of booking and the necessary arrangements will be made.

Sessions are conducted in English and Arabic. If you are more comfortable in Arabic, the full session — including the reading, the fixed star analysis, and the developmental discussion — can be conducted in Arabic. Clients who speak Arabic as their primary language are warmly invited to engage in that language. If you communicate in a language other than English or Arabic, please make contact before booking. Where it is possible to accommodate through the use of a professional interpreter or through other means, every effort will be made to do so.

Economic Accessibility

The full-length consultations offered through this practice represent a significant investment of preparation, time, and focused attention. The pricing reflects that reality honestly. At the same time, the practitioner is aware that the fees as listed can place this work out of reach for individuals whose need for it is genuine and whose financial circumstances are constrained.

A small number of reduced-rate places are made available each month for individuals in genuine financial hardship. These are offered discreetly and without requirement for extensive justification. If this applies to your situation, contact hello@hadimousawi.com before booking. The conversation will be handled with complete respect and without judgment.

Cognitive and Neurodivergent Accessibility

The content of these consultations is intellectually substantive. It engages with complex frameworks, unfamiliar terminology, and layered conceptual structures. If you are a neurodivergent client or if you process information differently and would benefit from a modified session structure more paced delivery, more frequent pauses for integration, written summaries of key points shared after the session, or any other adjustment — please indicate this at booking. The session format can be adapted. The depth of the work does not require any particular cognitive style to access. It requires only genuine engagement, in whatever form that takes for you.

Requests, Issues, and Suggestions

If any aspect of this website or this practice presents an accessibility barrier that has not been addressed here, please make contact directly at info@hadimousawi.com. Feedback of this kind is genuinely welcomed. It is one of the primary means by which this practice continues to improve its accessibility in practice rather than merely in intention.
